Promotional banners
We may display promotional banners for our own products and offers around the site. These are plain images we upload ourselves -- they don't set cookies, don't track you across sites, and aren't served by a third-party ad network. Because of that, they don't fall under the "marketing/tracking cookies" category that would require separate opt-in consent under the NDPA and NDPC guidelines; they're closer to any other image on the page.
If we ever bring in a third-party ad network or tracking pixel instead, that's a different category of cookie under the NDPA -- this page and our consent banner would be updated first, and you'd be asked to opt in before anything like that is set.
Cookies we use

Keeps you logged in and remembers your cart contents between page loads. Expires when you log out or after a period of inactivity.
csrftoken
Protects order and account forms from cross-site request forgery. Standard for any site that takes payments or logins.
Because these cookies are essential to core functionality (staying logged in, keeping your cart, and secure checkout), the site doesn't need to ask for opt-in consent for them under most privacy laws -- we still tell you about them here for transparency, and show a short notice on your first visit.
If we ever add analytics or marketing cookies in the future, this page will be updated and you'll be asked for consent before they're set.
